Job description
MAK are hiring part time and full time experienced waiting staff!
Based on authentic Mediterranean cuisine, MAK focuses on grills, sea food and seasonal ingredients, as well as a large offering of craft cocktails.
Key Responsibilities:
· Greeting guests as they arrive at the restaurant and escorting them to their table
· Presenting menus to guests and taking orders for food and drinks
· Making recommendations to guests regarding food and beverage selections
· Serving food and beverages to guests in a timely and efficient manner
· Checking on guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any issues
· Processing payment for meals and handling cash and credit card transactions
· Assisting with the setup and clean-up of the restaurant before and after service
· Cleaning and resetting tables for the next guests
· Collaborating with kitchen and bar staff to ensure that food and beverages are delivered accurately and on time
Required Qualifications & Experience:
· Experience in a similar role- working in a busy, fast paced restaurant.
· Excellent communication skills
· Meticulous attention to detail, highly organised and capable of handling multiple tasks
· A proactive self-starter who can work independently with good judgement and minimal direction
· A passion for great food and drinks
· A positive attitude
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 15-35 per week
Salary: £8.00-£11.50 per hour
