The Award Winning Cocktail Bar at The Merchant Hotel has the following vacancy:
Cocktail Bar Waiting Staff
The essential criteria for the position are:
- One year’s experience in a similar role
- Cash handling experience
- A knowledge of spirits and cocktails
- Confident and comfortable working in a demanding high volume environment
- A keen eye for detail
- Exceptional customer care skills
- The ability to anticipate guest needs and offer the genuine warmth of the “Merchant Welcome”
- Fully flexible to work, days evenings and weekend shifts
- Be over 18
The desirable criteria for this position is:
- Experience working within a five star setting
- Barista experience

The ideal candidate will be a team player with a cool head and the ability to work collaboratively with others towards our team goals.
The successful candidate will have a full knowledge of all items on the menus and be responsible for taking orders promptly and efficiently.
We have a full time role available, this is hourly paid and includes a generous service charge.
