The Role
We are looking for an experienced SEO Specialist to join our digital team. As we have a remote working model, you can be based anywhere in the UK. This means less time stuck on trains, planes and automobiles and more time for the things you want to do. But don’t worry, it’s not like we don’t ever speak. Our systems are such that we have regular communication across a variety of platforms.
The candidate will have over 2 years SEO experience and a proven track record of running successful SEO campaigns, agency side and experience in dealing with people at different levels.
As an SEO Specialist, you will strive to understand your clients’ business and any challenges that they face. You’ll drum up new ways to help them drive their business forwards.
You will be expected to manage and implement SEO projects that smash client expectations and deliver amazing results each and every time.
You’ll have the drive and capability to remain at the forefront of digital marketing, making sure best practice marketing techniques are at the heart of everything we do.

Duties and Responsibilities
As an SEO Specialist, you’ll be involved in all aspects of what we offer at Koozai. Your duties will include the following:
- Creation of overall SEO strategy for a client’s websites and digital properties
- Implementation of the SEO strategy; working with a clear and defined set of KPIs for each project
- Delivery of projects including technical SEO, site audits, keyword research, competitor analysis, backlink analysis and more
- Working alongside our Content and PR Lead (where required) to assist with the creation of a blended strategy to add rocket-fuel to the SEO projects
- Ongoing monthly optimisation of client websites
- Analysing campaign performance and making adjustments accordingly
- Bespoke client reporting
- Managing clients – including their expectations (which you will exceed) – and keeping them up to date at each stage of the project
- Ensuring individual KPIs are met each month to aid career progression
Required Skills
The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate the following:
- At least 2 years experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of delivering successful SEO campaigns (in-house or agency)
- Experience in the technical aspects of SEO
- Skilled in Google Analytics
- Knowledge and experience with HTML
- Ability to analyse and improve results
- Commercial awareness to drive businesses forwards
- Experience with using market-leading SEO tools.
- Experience in supporting agency growth through pitching, account growth or new business opportunities.
- Ability to sell the benefits of SEO to potential and existing clients.
- Confident presenting and liaising with clients.
- Excellent reporting skills with a proactive approach
- A willingness to learn, research and use initiative
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and deliver results
- Excellent time management skills
- Commercial awareness to support the growth of the SEO department and the agency
- Outstanding organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to prioritise
- Work as a team player whilst being able to work on set individual performance goals and KPIs
- Excellent written and verbal communication and literacy skills
- Perfect command of the English language
- Proactive approach to workload and new ideas
