Job description

We are an exciting start-up with a web based mental health product targeting an international market.

Working directly with the founder and content creators, you will be responsible for ensuring that the website has maximum visibility in natural search results for our targets keywords and key phrases.

As an SEO Manager…

• You know exactly how to gather and interpret data, proactively undertaking key research when required and using a data-led approach to optimise content.
• You recognise scalable content opportunities across groups of pages and utilise content automation and smart techniques to scale optimisations quickly.
• You have significant experience in optimising websites within Google's EEAT guidelines.

What are we looking for?

• Extensive experience with essential SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Screaming Frog, Botify, SEMRush, STAT, Ahrefs etc
• Strong understanding of JavaScript / Rendering SEO, and its impact on visibility in major search engines
• Understanding HTTP status codes, redirects, canonicals, hreflang, meta robots and other compliancy factors that may impact Googlebot’s ability to crawl Trainline effectively
• Solving complex indexation and crawlability issues, giving recommendations to improve SEO performance at a global level
• Giving detailed site architecture and URL recommendations using appropriate tools and techniques that aligns with the wider SEO strategy and provides longevity to the business
• Ability to configure Analytics to provide accurate reports on conversion attribution - helping us understand where our sales are being genrated
• High attention to detail
• Results-oriented and strong sense of ownership of projects
