Your role

  • Develop and implement effective SEO strategies to enhance website visibility and organic traffic.
  • Utilise SEO tools such as Google Analytics, SemRush, YourTextGuru, and others to analyze and interpret website performance data.
  • Create insightful dashboards and reports to monitor SEO KPIs, and present them to the team with actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SEO optimisations in content creation and marketing campaigns.
  • Stay abreast of the latest industry trends and updates, adjusting strategies accordingly to ensure competitive advantage.
  • Collaborate with the content team to optimize website content, including but not limited to, keyword optimization, meta-descriptions, and internal linking strategies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience in SEO.
  • Strong technical skills and familiarity with various software and tools, including but not limited to:

Keyword Research Tools
Google Keyword Planner: Helps in identifying keyword trends and traffic estimations.
SEMrush: Offers comprehensive keyword research and competitive analysis.
Ahrefs: A tool used for keyword research and competitor analysis.
Moz Keyword Explorer: Provides keyword suggestions and SEO metrics.

Technical SEO Tools
Google Search Console: Helps in monitoring and troubleshooting website’s presence in Google SERPs.
Bing Webmaster Tools: A suite for webmasters to use to troubleshoot the crawling and indexing of their website.
Screaming Frog: A desktop program that crawls website links, images, CSS, and scripts to evaluate onsite SEO.

Analytics Tools
Google Analytics: A comprehensive analytics tool to analyse website traffic and user behaviour.
Hotjar: Provides insights into user behaviour through heatmaps and user feedback.
Crazy Egg: A visualisation tool that provides insights into user engagement on websites.

Content Optimisation Tools
Yoast SEO: A WordPress plugin that assists in optimising content for SEO.
SurferSEO: A tool that provides insights into optimising content based on SERP analysis.
YourTextGuru: An AI-powered tool for optimising textual content.
