TTG is seeking a dedicated and motivated Technical SEO Associate to join our dynamic Growth Marketing team. The ideal candidate can navigate SEO tools comfortably, understands SEO best practices, and is proficient with website analysis.
Reporting directly to the Senior SEO Manager in London, you will play a critical role in optimizing our digital presence, monitoring and tracking site performance, and driving organic traffic to our websites. This is a great opportunity for someone who has 2+ years experience working in the ecommerce or digital marketing space and is looking to apply their knowledge base to a forward-thinking tech company. Please note: This is a full time position and qualified candidates must be based in the greater London area, as this is a hybrid position (working both from home and in the office). Expected time in the office is 1 - 3 days a week.
What You'll Do:
- Monitor site performance: Regularly analyze website metrics and performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and implement technical SEO strategies accordingly.
- Keyword tracking: Conduct comprehensive keyword research and analysis to identify relevant keywords and phrases for website optimization. Track keyword rankings and make recommendations for content optimization.
- QA releases: Collaborate with the development team to ensure that SEO best practices are implemented during website releases and updates. Perform quality assurance checks to ensure proper implementation of technical SEO elements.
- Set up reporting: Develop and maintain regular reporting on SEO performance, including key metrics, trends, and insights. Identify areas of opportunity and provide actionable recommendations for improvement.
- Technical SEO audits: Conduct regular technical audits to identify and resolve website issues that may impact search engine visibility, including crawlability, indexation, and site speed optimization.
- On-page optimization: Collaborate with content creators and developers to optimize website content, including meta tags, headings, URLs, and internal linking structures. Ensure that content is optimized for search engines while maintaining a user-friendly experience.
- Stay up to date with SEO trends: Keep abreast of the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and industry best practices. Proactively suggest and implement innovative SEO strategies to enhance website visibility and organic traffic.
We're Looking for Someone With:
- 2+ years of experience in technical SEO, preferably in an e-commerce or digital marketing environment.
- Strong understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and SEO best practices.
- Proficiency in using SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, or similar.
- Experience with website analysis and reporting tools.
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- A solutions-oriented self-starter, who can work independently.
