The Role:
We are hiring for an experienced SEO Specialist to join the in-house Digital Marketing Team at Stoneacre’s Head Office in Thorne, Doncaster.
The role requires someone to be able to hit the ground running and take hold of multiple SEO projects, constantly improving our search engine performance across the board through white hat techniques and wholesome ideas.
Strategy and analysis will be the two main components to ensuring successful results, comprehensively auditing web properties before creating four-weekly plans to action.
Meanwhile, working with stakeholders and fellow colleagues will also be vital to making progress, with the former important to getting a solid idea of the needs of the business.
The ideal candidate will have experience working on campaigns in a digital agency or in an in-house capacity, whilst also having a track record of improving organic search visibility over time.
Responsibilities:
- Creation and execution of multiple SEO strategies across our B2C web properties
- Will need to consider the likes of: landing page/keyword performance; conversion optimisation; content quality; audience/device groups; technical set-up
- Carry out comprehensive keyword research
- Perform thorough website audits and identify areas for growth/repair
- Report on work actioned in previous period and show evidence of results
- Identify and acquire high-quality backlinks
- Work with Stakeholders directly to gauge what’s best for the company and maximise marketing potential
- Work with in-house Copywriter to create high quality content which is purposeful, useful for users and meets search engine criteria
- Create own content if work schedules require
Skills:
- Analytically minded
- Proficient in using SEO/marketing tools, such as Google Analytics & SemRush or similar
- Able to work with others to maximise impact of work, but must also be a self-starter and work on own initiative
- Able to communicate new ideas clearly as part of a group
- Able to identify both white and black hat SEO techniques, actioning only those which comply with Google guidelines and best practices
- Must be able to keep up to date with the latest SEO/industry techniques through self-scheduled R&D
- Desired but not essential: being able to identify good (and bad) user experience on a website will be advantageous
- Desired but not essential: knowledge of the automotive industry
Experience:
- Essential: you will have worked in a digital marketing agency or within an in-house marketing department working in a similar capacity
- Essential: will be able to show a proven track record of success within SEO
- Desired but not essential: working within a B2C environment
- Desired but not essential: qualifications in a marketing discipline
- Desired but not essential: have worked directly with website developers
Location: Thorne/Doncaster
Wage: £23,000 to £25,000
Working hours: Mon-Fri – 9.00-17.00
