About the Company:
Mason Interactive is a performance marketing agency with headquarters in NYC and a second office in Charlotte, North Carolina. Our team of 30 works with about 50 clients across a variety of performance marketing strategies. We are looking for a skilled and passionate SEO Analyst to join our team.
Location: Brooklyn, NY (Hybrid-Work- 2 Days In-Office Weekly)
Salary: $65,000 - $70,000 DOE

Responsibilities, including, but not limited to:
- Technical analysis of websites
- Content creation and editing, including providing creative SEO copy suggestions to increase search visibility and align with clients' brand image
- Keyword strategy, including managing and maintaining updates for large keyword lists and selecting appropriate keywords for content targeting
- Oversee client reporting for all major metrics, goals tracking, revenue tracking, and other search initiatives
- Backlink building and strategy
- Keep pace with search engine and SEO industry trends and developments
- Monitor and administer web analytics dashboards, reports, and key reporting tools, and point out key areas of importance in accordance with client goals
- Monitor and evaluate search results and search performance across the major search channels
"Must-Have" Skills:
- Keyword research (Google Keyword Planner, SEMRush, BrightEdge DataCube)
- HTML and website technologies, etc. that impact SEO: URL structure and site architecture, advanced HTML beyond the SEO basics, read/parse JavaScript, WordPress admin & backend development, .htaccess/Apache directives and server log analysis, CSS/DOM, server headers/response codes and redirect chains, analysis and troubleshooting, advanced Google Analytics interpretation
- Ability to distill insights from data analysis
- Google Search Console auditing/debugging
- Copy editing and copywriting
