Job Title: India SEO Manager
Department: Country Management
Reporting to: Digital Marketing Manager
The Department:
The Country Management Team is responsible for India’s digital footprint, including traffic generation and conversion across all channels globally.

Purpose of the role:
Working closely with Digital Marketing Manager, the role is pivotal for the company’s continual growth into 2022 and beyond. The role holder will build a small SEO specialist team, assume responsibility and ownership of the organic traffic across India and subcontinents.
You will be responsible for:
- Own and manage the regional budget to facilitate growth in search engine rankings
- Formulate SEO outreach, on-site and content strategies to drive profitable SEO growth
- SERP positions across head and tail terms, leading to India’s growth in organic traffic
- Develop and manage outreach strategy in line with global outreach team
- Bring innovation profitable outreach strategy using such tactics as guest posting, infographics, PR, social media, widgets and whitepapers; leverage link-bait tactics utilising in-house content, creative and video assets to generate profitable SEO and brand footprint
- Leverage and contribute to the brand and content strategies to maximise SEO opportunities
- Look for opportunities for technical improvements and formulate implementation plans
- Directing and managing all on-site audits and implementations to ensure SEO best practices are followed and adhered to across multiple Group’s domains and subdomains
- Present regular KPIs reports to senior stakeholders showing return on investment and progress achieved
- Work closely with other Digital and channel owners (Affiliates, Display, Product, Mobile, and Social) and other teams (Brand, Content, Development, PR, Retention, et. al) to maximise Group’s return from SEO channel.
- Regular catch ups with internal web development team to present and project manage SEO relevant / necessary projects to enhance SEO performance of our pages

You will have (Essential criteria):
- Excellent written and verbal English
- Experience managing SEO budgets to positive ROI and profit levels
- Demonstrable track record of developing and executing multi-region advanced outreach strategies (guest posting, link-bait, content, PR, social media) leading to noticeable improvement in organic rankings in different regions and across different language groups.
- Strong technical SEO knowledge and experience
- Experience in formulating and delivering SEO content strategies
- All behavioural competencies are also essential
It would be a bonus if you also had (Desirable skills):
- Basic web development experience (WP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, CMS)
- Experience in PPC
- SEO content skills (copywriting, understanding the value of content for SEO, KW density, etc.)
- Numerate and interested in working with different data sets to drive actionable results
- Experience in working at a large SEO environment covering multiple territories and large keyword sets
- Competitive and regulated verticals experience (Betting, Sports, Finance, Health & Pharmaceutical)
- Demonstrates consistent logic, rationality, and objectivity in decision making
- Demonstrable track record of developing and executing advanced outreach strategies (guest posting, link-bait, content, PR, social media) leading to noticeable improvement in organic rankings in different regions and across different language groups
- Familiarity in utilising the following tools to gain actionable insight: Adobe Analytics, Google Search Console, Search Metrics, SEMRush, Ahrefs, Majestic & Ranking Tools (Ranksonic, Moz, etc)
- Understanding of CMSs and front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and how these can be utilised to maximise SEO potential
- Knowledge of sports betting and casino games
- Hindi language Skills
