About the role:
As a Senior User Experience Designer, you every day should be meaningful, rewarding, and challenging. We believe there is nothing more rewarding than being part of highly skilled and successful MHR Agile Product Teams developing the next generation of new and exciting products shaping the world of work.
Working with a large diverse product team of UX designers who are driven and passionate about the People First product they design. Over the last 5 years our People First product has developed enormously, and the product is continuously showcased providing Human Centred Design creating innovative solutions based on deep understanding of people.
As a Senior User Experience Designer, you will facilitate internal and external business contacts pulling the resulting information together to create simple and effective UI/UX Designs for our customers.

Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the technology & delivery teams to support the delivery process, resolving UX challenges as necessary.
- Manage and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders from across the business.
- Leading on and designing user experience, principles, approach, and planning projects, starting with research to shape intent, right up to the delivery of detailed and accessible use interface designs.
- Craft simple and elegant solutions to difficult technical and functional problems
- Actively help Lead, coach, and mentor a small team of Junior UX designers
- Create experience strategies based on customer and business needs with solid background working hands-on design experiences and interfaces on web and mobile.
About you:
- Passionate about UI/UX and strong drive for innovation
- Experience conducting design research, from creating research plans to running moderated interviews, analysis, and synthesis.
- Contributing to a design system, drawing on appropriate design standards with knowledge of accessibility and inclusive design.
- Knowledge of interface design guidelines and native patterns for both iOS and Android platforms
- Prototyping using various tools, techniques or code
- Excellent team player who encourages feedback and can delegate and seek help when appropriate
- Proven track record of mentoring and supporting juniors on the team
