Experience the power of connection. Job Description Role Summary We are looking for a Senior Technical SEO Manager to join our team of Technical SEO specialists. You'll lead on all technical aspects of SEO client accounts, working closely with multi-disciplinary SEO campaign teams to formulate, communicate and support the implementation of SEO strategy. You'll be coaching and developing more junior members of the team, and supporting in the management and maintenance of a portfolio of clients. The Technical SEO department is responsible for all technical queries relating to SEO, forming a key part of portfolio teams delivering SEO campaigns to major brands. The team also works embedded within website build projects, working alongside experts in UX, design, interface design, technical architecture etc. to ensure that SEO is integrated throughout the project lifecycle. Responsibilities Provide best in class technical SEO strategy, consultancy, deliverables and guidance for leading global and national brands across a wide variety of industry sectors Accountable for the implementation and delivery of technical SEO recommendations by clients, including working with client stakeholders and creating business cases to support where required Support clients with new website launches, website migrations, CMS changes, retiring websites, and all other elements of technical SEO Key deliverables include technical SEO audits, site migration strategy, new site technical SEO recommendations and requirements, wireframe/UX reviews, plus various ad-hoc projects based upon client need Regular communication with clients supporting them with day-to-day technical advice and guidance Accountability for all technical SEO decisions made for own clients, ensuring quality and timely delivery of all client services relating to technical SEO Keep up-to-date with industry and technical developments, and integrate these into client campaigns Share knowledge derived from client campaigns and research with fellow team members; coach and develop more junior members of the team Provide support with business development opportunities, including attending pitches Help to continually develop Digitas' technical SEO proposition to maintain our status as an industry-leader in this specialist area Qualifications Skills & Experience Essential Experience in a similar role with technical SEO as a key area of focus Expert level of technical SEO knowledge Experience devising and delivering technical SEO strategies and recommendations Knowledge and experience of technical SEO, including: on-page markup, URL structure & site architecture, redirect strategies, structured mark-up such as Schema.org, XML Sitemaps, local, mobile, and search engine algorithms In-depth familiarity with Google Search Console Experience with website crawling tools such as Screaming Frog and/or DeepCrawl Hands on experience with Google Analytics Experience with Python for automation or tool creation Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills Ability to manage relationships with tact and diplomacy Strong written and verbal communication skills Desirable Experience working for big brands on complicated SEO campaigns, on multi-market SEO accounts Experience in an agency environment, working directly with clients as the technical contact on accounts Experience with other analytics tools e.g. Adobe Analytics Experience with building reports and other dashboards in Google Data Studio Line management experience Experience with technical SEO for non-Google search engines (e.g. Yandex/Baidu etc.) Experience in developing technical business cases for SEO Experience creating case studies to demonstrate success of technical SEO implementation Practical experience with Python and use of APIs, in particular around automation Degree level qualification or equivalent in computer science, web development or similar SEO into the User Experience/Design stage of website builds, familiarity with Jira Experience with the Adobe AEM, Hybris and/or Sitecore platforms Additional Information Please note that Digitas is an equal opportunities employer and welcomes applications from all sections of society and does not discriminate on grounds of race, religion or belief, ethnic or national origin, disability, age, citizenship, marital, domestic or civil partnership status, sexual orientation or gender identity. #LI-Hybrid Publicis Groupe
