We are looking for a Senior Strategic Finance Manager to join our team based at Nottingham Trinity house. This role is operating as a Hybrid model with the expectation of working 2 days a week in the office. Senior Strategic Finance Manager
Here's what you'll be doing
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high performing, value driving strategic finance team. The team is positioned at the heart of the Residential & SME Commercial and Operational decision making, and supports financial planning and reporting to ensure delivery of outcomes aligned to E.ON Next’s strategic objectives.
Using state of the art tools and systems, you will be using real-time data to seek value adding opportunities. Being the heartbeat of strategic finance, you will be optimising Gross Margin and Opex outcomes for the business through analysing and interpreting the data.
Responsibilities
- Financial planning and analysis including owning business forecast models
- Drive digitalisation including lead on rolling forecasting processes to manage and track in-year and longer-term performance.
- Develop business cases, and evaluation criteria for business initiatives alongside the E.ON Next Leadership Team
- Preparing board packs and other strategic meeting materials for senior stakeholder updates
- Performance manage the business and monitor financial KPIs to drive future decisions
- Delegate for Head of Strategic Finance and Finance Director E.ON Next when required
- Other support for the business as required
What we need from you
Are we a match?
- Highly numerate and able to articulate complex ideas at executive level
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Capable of solving complex business problems
- Be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with often changing demands
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity
- CIMA/ACA, MBA, or top tier strategy consulting experience beneficial
