Senior Sous Chef
The Tandy is looking for a proven, enthusiastic and hardworking Senior Sous Chef to join our team.
This is a very exciting time for The Tandy; as a small independent local business we have complete freedom to explore and get creative with our offering. This role will provide you with an excellent opportunity to drive our offering forward.
Core responsibilities will include ensuring all kitchen operations and activities are carried out in full compliance with the company’s operating standards and procedures, and the Head Chef’s instructions. You will work in conjunction with other Chefs, providing clear and consistent direction to the wider team. You are expected to effectively manage your team in the absence of our Group Head Chef.
You will have...
- A minimum of 1 years' experience working within a similar role
- Extensive experience working in a high volume restaurant
- An extensive array of culinary skills & knowledge, experience and the confidence working as second-in-command to the Head Chef
- Food Hygiene level 2
- Experience managing and working with a large diverse and experienced team
- High standards for producing quality fresh food
- Excellent & proven track record in leadership and mentoring skills
