What you'll do
The Senior Scrum Master works with multi-functional teams and systems to grow and deliver sustainable value using Agile principles and practices. You will actively remove or guide the team to eliminate impediments and waste and to achieve a smooth flow of work.
Key accountabilities:
- Lead change and establish better ways of working, with a focus on driving efficiency.
- Effectively support individuals, groups, or teams to learn new skills, gain knowledge, and unlock their potential.
- Bring experience, insights, and observations to guide people, teams, or the system towards achieving success.
- Applying and adapting Agile frameworks to best meet the needs of the team and implementing steps for continuous improvement.
- Designing and executing learning journeys, drawing upon multiple techniques to create learning content that supports people in becoming Digital experts.
- Collaboration with Product and Tech Leads to support the continuous review and management of delivery roadmaps and backlogs.
- Accountable for facilitation of day-to-day Agile team events and is aware of the role a facilitator plays as a neutral presence in supporting a team to reach their goals.
- Active participant in the Agile Centre of Excellence, supporting the growth and development of junior Scrum Masters.
Who you are
- Strong understanding of the Agile values and principles, with experience working in both Scrum and Kanban.
- Competent user of ADO with a working knowledge of SAFe and practical experience facilitating PI Planning events.
- Experience facilitating workshops in complex settings for senior stakeholders.
- Understanding of Agile Coaching and ideally have had at least one formal coaching relationship with a senior person.
