Job description
The School of Biology at the University of St Andrews is a multi-site School and one of the leading departments of Biology in the UK. To fully embrace our biodiversity, the School’s research and degree programmes cover all aspects of Biology, including Biomolecular Sciences, Cell and Systems Biology, Evolution and Animal Behaviour and Marine Biology.
An opportunity has arisen in the School of Biology to appoint a Senior School Administrator to provide a proactive, high quality administration service for the entire School of Biology. The post will be based in the Biomedical Sciences Research Complex (BSRC), Biomolecular Sciences Building (BMS) on the North Haugh, and responsible for ensuring appropriate delegation to School Administrators to provide for all school requirements. The post requires a proven level of administrative experience and proficiency, a confident, positive and constructive approach to leading people, and a commitment and willingness to work collaboratively.
