About the role
As a B2C Sales Executive, your role will be to build great relationships with our customers by always offering a helpful and friendly approach the entire way through their journey, until they are ready to proceed with the sale. Unlike traditional sales roles, we do not believe in cold calling or pressuring potential customers into buying. Instead, we take a consultative approach, providing value and education to customers, and helping them make informed decisions that are right for them.
What you will be responsible for
As a Make My House Green Sales Executive, your role will be to promote and sell sustainable products to homeowners who are interested in making their homes more environmentally friendly. You will be responsible for building relationships with potential customers, nurturing them through their decision making process and converting them into paying customers. Your goal will be to increase the number of homes that have the right green energy solution for them and reduce the carbon footprint of our customers.
Specifically;
- Following up with leads and close sales to meet or exceed monthly sales targets and KPIS
- Supporting users through their decision making process and helping them work out which green solution is right for their home
- Use a consultative sales approach to identify and understand the unique needs and challenges of each prospective customer.
- Effectively managing your customer pipeline at all stages using Hubspot
- Attending Trade shows with the opportunity to generate your own leads and convert customers to the right green solutions in person
- Thinking creatively and always seeking to improve the ways that we do things
To be great in this role you’ll...
- Have 3+ year of experience in a sales role (sector experience isn’t essential but nice to have)
- Have a genuine interest in building relationships and want to make sure users get the best experience and the right solution
- Are highly motivated with an execution focus, a strong sense of urgency and a belief in our Mission
- Be a self-starter who likes to find and solve problems
- Enjoy understanding how things work
- Have the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Bonus points if you have additional experience in customer facing roles
