The day to day
This is an exciting varied role, some days you will be supporting with reward practices such as pay benchmarking, gender pay reporting, bonus scheme design, equal pay audits and benefits reviews. You will be sorting, collating, validating and analysing this data to model and produce management reports, charts and graphs for presentation to clients via our SaaS based Reward suite.
Other days you will be supporting consultants in the evaluation of jobs and working on the development of pay structures, bonus/commission schemes, modelling options and testing scenarios/costs.
You will also get to research market information around industry practices and publications and benchmarking data working with the Senior Consultants to advise of findings and suggested options for change.
What we are looking for:
You have some experience in a semi analytical role and you might come from one of the following environments, performance analytics within a sales/commercial function, financial analytics within a finance and/or accounting function, data/statistical analytics within a Product or R&D function or in an analytical pay and or reward environment from working in an ‘in-house’ HR team or for another Reward consultancy.
You have excellent planning skills and an ability to handle ever changing priorities. You love data and most importantly you are happy to roll up your sleeves and work as part of a team!
- Advanced proficiency in handling and analysing large sets of data in M/S Excel with the ability to understand and use a variety of functions and formulas including Lookups, Logical and statistical formulas/arguments, charts and graphs, Pivot tables, Data validation, Conditional formatting etc.
- Experienced in data presentation and interpretation skills.
- Experienced in some if not all elements of reward activities i.e., annual pay reviews, salary benchmarking, bonus modelling etc.
- Some experience in job matching to salary surveys, analysis and reporting.
- A broad understanding of reward theories, practices and techniques.
- Ability to apply knowledge and competencies to a range of HR and business situations
- Good Project management skills i.e. under direction can project manage a workstream
- May have a basic level of consulting skills, with potential to advance in this area.
- University Degree in a relevant subject - Desired
- Professional Qualification (or part qualified) CIPD- Desired

Location/Working Hours
The role would be home based with a requirement to travel to our Group Head office in Milton Keynes twice a month. You will need to be available to travel around the UK, mainly the South including London, to meet clients and support events as required. The opportunity for part-time working exists
