Maru are looking to recruit a Senior Research Executive to join the team!


Hybrid 2-3 days per week in the office - Head office based in Southampton

SENIOR RESEARCH EXECUTIVE


We’re looking for a Senior Research Executive to join our Client Advisory team and help us to deliver great work to our clients. Our ways of working mean you get involved in all aspects of the research process – from survey design, build and checking to putting together PowerPoint documents to share learnings with clients.


This is the perfect role if you have 2-3 years research experience and are looking to develop and grow your career in Research, working with a great team of colleagues for top UK and global brands!


Responsibilities:

  • Within a team, manage and execute projects through the project lifecycle with focus on flawless client servicing and outputs;
  • Work collaboratively and consultatively across teams to get the job done;
  • Support departmental client goals as per the direction of assigned mentor/manager;
  • Support team in adding value and developing trust with the client day to day through delivering seamlessly. Escalate issues that need assistance to resolve;
  • Stretch and take responsibility for own clients where opportunities lie;
  • Build skills around account management and look for ways to add value or drive efficiencies ongoing to clients;
  • Support team in delivery of superior outputs through quality of data, analysis and storytelling;
  • Go beyond the data to find compelling and relevant insights that go beyond the obvious to help add value to our clients;
  • Act as a lead or mentor to junior team members around project delivery (seen as a go to knowledge base) with potential to take more of a leading role on smaller clients (Personal Development);
  • Upskill personally – Build understanding and proficiency around market research techniques and toolkit in addition to sector and client understanding to drive meaningful and tangible differences to projects, reports and client deliverables.

Experience:

  • 2-3 years research experience
  • Passion and curiosity for insight and data with proven track record in analysis and report writing
  • Tenacious and ability to influence and manage client
  • Knowledge of HUB or similar survey analysis & reporting tools
  • Experience of using Excel and PowerPoint
  • Self-motivated with strong personal development and drive to improve
  • Exceptional attention to detail with good oral and written communication skills
  • People orientated, team player
  • Strong time management and ability to prioritise effectively
