Introduction to our business

UKHeatPumps Ltd are a renewable energy company specialising in air and ground source heat pump systems. We are part of the Daikin sustainable home network and have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic heating engineer to join this ever-expanding sector. This is a permanent position and is well suited to a individual who is looking at joining an upbeat and exciting industry. You will be learning everyday and helping the government achieve their vision of becoming carbon neutral by 2050.

Role and responsibilities

  • Installation of air source heat pump systems
  • Servicing of both air source heat pump systems
  • Fault finding and diagnostics on faulty ground source and air source heat pump systems
  • completing the commissioning and hand over with the customer, giving them confidence in the product and how it works.
  • Installation and servicing of underfloor heating
  • Applicant must have good communication and social skills and be happy to work in a team
  • A driving license is needed for this role
  • Daikin training will be carried out onsite by our approved heat pump specialist

Key requirements (qualifications and skills)

This job role is open to both apprenticeship or fully qualified engineer level. Qualifications are thus not essential but highly advantageous:

  • Level 2 NVQ in Mechanical Engineering Services (Plumbing) or equivalent
  • Gas Safety Registered
  • WRAS/WREG qualifications
  • Domestic vented and unvented hot water storage systems qualifications
  • Experience working with renewable heating and hot water systems

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £450,000.00-£500,000.00 per year
