Our country’s creativity, diversity, style, wit and warmth are the same special qualities that make us who we are. If you’re made of the same qualities as us, you could soon be part of the next chapter of our story. As the Senior Recruitment Business Partner, you will play a critical role in managing a team delivering the recruitment needs of our organisation. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient recruitment of new entrants in line with operational requirements, whilst at the same time delivering a great candidate experience.

Establishing strong working relationships with all relevant business partners will be key to your success, and this includes our third-party recruitment partners, as you will be accountable for driving overall team performance.

Taking a comprehensive view of recruitment, you will challenge existing processes and play a significant role in driving transformational change. By working closely with key collaborators and colleagues across the recruitment team, you will identify cross-campaign synergies and promote the implementation of process improvements.

Overall, this role offers an exciting opportunity to have a significant impact on our talent acquisition process and candidate experience. By effectively managing recruitment operations, building strong partner relationships, driving transformational change, and leading continuous improvement initiatives, you will contribute to the overall success of our organisation and help us attract top talent to meet our operational needs.

About You:

To be successful in this role you will possess:

  • Exceptional problem-solving skills: you can identify and resolve issues efficiently, finding innovative solutions to unblock obstacles and ensure the successful delivery of requirements.

  • Effective communication, influencing and collaboration skills: you are comfortable and experienced in challenging and influence senior managers and decision-makers, creating productive relationships and driving successful outcomes.
  • Attention to detail and strategic thinking: you have a great eye for detail while also having the ability to think strategically.
  • Strong candidate focus and innovative mentality: with a strategic approach along with a real focus on the candidate experience, you can demonstrate creative and innovative thinking to balance daily operations and identify future development opportunities

Our Corporate and Support roles come with big potential to make your mark on our business. The airline industry changes so fast that we’re constantly evolving and finding new ways to impress customers and get ahead of our competitors. Your impact on British Airways will be rewarded with a competitive rewards package plus the opportunity to develop and progress your career in many directions.

Not only will you have the chance to further your career development within BA, you’ll have access to our competitive reward and benefits package. This includes core company paid benefits such as a Defined Contribution pension scheme, generous Life Assurance cover and a whole host of options to support your physical, mental and financial wellbeing. You can also sign up for a range of voluntary benefits such as Private Medical cover, Dental and Critical Illness cover, Technology Scheme, Cycle to Work and Electric Car Scheme.
