Job description
We are recruiting for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the commercial team of a major Civil Engineering contractor. This is truly a fantastic chance to be involved in one of the regions most challenging and complex construction projects, Devonport Dockyard. Due to the nature of the scheme, all personnel are required to undergo a security clearance procedure and must be British nationals. We will also consider applicants from Managing Quantity Surveyors.
As Senior Quantity Surveyor you will:
- Prepare monthly cost/value reports
- Agree subcontractor payments
- Be responsible for providing commercial reports on financial and contractual performance
Our client requires a Senior Quantity Surveyor with:
- Degree qualification, or similar, in Quantity Surveying
- Experience of working for a tier one Civil Engineering contractor
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience of commercially delivering multi-million-pound schemes
- A good knowledge of NEC form of contracts
Salary and benefits include:
- £55,000 - £75,000 per annum
- Company car or car allowance

- Travel/Lodge subsistence for employees who do not live within commuting distance of the project
