The Vaccination Programme Wales is a key national priority and seeks to transform the delivery of immunisation across Wales, in line with the National Immunisation Framework 2022.
The DU is currently recruiting 2x permanent Senior Project Manager posts to support the ongoing vaccination programme.
Working in the DU offers the opportunity for a talented individual to further develop their skills, experience, knowledge and leadership capabilities.
The successful candidate willgain experience in a wide range of settings, influencing and delivering real change for the benefit of citizens in Wales. They will also gain experience of working at all levels of the health and social care system, including opportunities to work with Welsh Government colleagues and be involved with national programme boards, change programmes and policy development.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

The NHS Wales Delivery Unit (DU) provides professional support to Welsh Government to monitor and manage performance delivery across NHS Wales.
The unit is required to respond at pace where organisations are demonstrating quality, safety and/or performance deterioration.
A key role is assurance to the Welsh Government’s Health & Social Services Group on the robust delivery of in-year performance and delivery of Integrated Medium Term Plans by NHS Wales’s organisations.
The DU also works collaboratively with other national agencies to support improvement in service delivery, around the national priorities identified by Welsh Government.
