Job Title: Senior Data Project Manager x2
Contract Type: Permanent or Fixed Term
Location: Alderley Edge or Edinburgh
Working style: Hybrid 50% home/office based

We are looking for 2x Senior Project Managers to join the Group Data Office on either a Permanent or Fixed Term basis. Within these roles you will be required to deliver data change across a virtual data portfolio to support achievement of the group strategy and transformation.

We are responsible for defining and implementing a common, strategic approach and capabilities for data at Royal London. About the role
Ensure business outcomes are clearly understood and associated solutions are delivered to enable the business to realise benefits on time, within budget and to agreed quality standards
Responsible for planning and leading the delivery of the whole change lifecycle for projects covering both Business and Technical driven change
Provide leadership for the project team by building and motivating team members to meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones
Full project life cycle ownership: successful project delivery will include full implementation from initiation to deployment for one complex & major or several mid-size initiatives simultaneously
Manage the day-to-day project activities and resources and chairs the project management team meetings for large and complex project or small portfolios
About you
Experience of leading project teams in complex Data delivery/migration projects within an Agile environment
Experience delivering data programmes aligned to strategic data roadmaps
Highly competent in using planning tools and experienced in implementing and operating financial control frameworks
Proven ability to work in an ambiguous environment and collaborate across multiple areas in order to achieve a common business or technical objective
Ability to influence and inspire change, facilitate and enhance performance within a cross - functional environment
Demonstrate decisiveness in resolving business problems, making decisions and identifying priorities
