As the Senior Product Delivery Leader you will deliver our Cognitive and Big Data platform that powers our global Audit & Assurance practice. You will lead the vision, delivery and operations of innovative, high-quality solutions that enable the future of our global Audit & Assurance practice.

As the Delivery Leader you will bring your passion for technology, driving transformational change, building teams, and enjoy partnering with others to envision and deliver innovative solutions. You must enjoy going broad and deep – providing leadership, shaping strategy and roadmaps with our audit business leaders, aligning stakeholders, diving into designs about parallel processing, architecture and other technical topics, and also build and inspire a team of talented people to deliver amazing results.

You will provide leadership and direction on technology decisions to multiple cross-functional product delivery teams.This includes directing, evaluating and monitoring the progress of product development and facilitating discussions with various teams and leaders on business objectives, functionality, architecture, and product deployment. You will have fun shaping product strategy and roadmaps in close collaboration with our audit leaders and other technology and innovation leaders throughout Deloitte.

You will make a difference leading our cognitive technology team, working with cutting-edge technologies, and working with other smart, energizing leaders throughout Deloitte.

Role Specific Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Product Owners and other stakeholders to co-create the roadmap, understand business objectives, and bring a point of view on product strategy
  • Inspire people and drive project execution, manage risk and quality while innovating
  • Ensure the design, delivery and operations of high-quality solutions considering high-volume, high-scale, reliable and secure global solutions.
  • Partner and communicate with senior leaders on the progress, quality and risks
  • Drive technology strategy including Cloud, DevOps, Cybersecurity, Big Data, Machine Learning and Analytics
  • Manage vendor relationships and staff augmentation strategies
  • Directly manage the budget and resources; engage with leadership in the scoping and planning process
  • Oversee and conduct research on competitive products both internally and externally; understand business and industry direction to be a technology partner and advisor to our audit partners
  • Active involvement in cross-functional initiatives and leading continuous improvement efforts
  • Manage resource allocation, goal setting, feedback and talent development activities
  • Coach and grow more junior talent
  • Champion agile transformation activities – living and breathing the agile way

Connect to your skills and professional experience

  • Proven track record leading teams to successful delivery of complex, large-scale technology solutions to global user base
  • Experience working with product owners to co-create product strategy and roadmaps
  • Demonstrated ability to define, plan, lead, and deliver solutions with little to no direction, with appropriate partnering
  • Proven consultative and strategic thinking experience
  • Experience with budget, portfolio management, and demand management processes
  • Experience leading large teams; coaching, mentoring and developing and retaining a strong talented team
  • Demonstrated mastery of architecture and all software development disciplines, including software methods and tools, architecture, development, deployment, testing, operations, documentation, standards, best practices, and security.
  • Extensive experience with state-of-the-art technology platforms, development tools and environments
  • Experience with the public cloud (Azure preferred)
  • Demonstrated analytical and critical thinking to solve complex problems
  • Experience working with agile transformation activities
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent; advanced degree is preferred
