Responsibilities
Role Purpose
The Senior Producer role will be responsible for delivery across multiple areas, able to balance different priorities and areas of focus. You will build a strong understanding of the game vision and strategy and will always have the player experience at the heart of your decision-making.
This is an exciting role on Sea of Thieves, as we continue to grow and evolve the experience with our players at the heart of all our plans. You will be taking ownership of multiple areas of the live game and will be swiftly delivering awesome stuff to our wonderful community.

Key Accountabilities
- Be responsible for multiple areas of delivery, able to shift focus and balance competing priorities.
- Be comfortable with the unknowns, leading the team towards answers.
- Look ahead of the immediate goals, see the risks that are coming and steer around them.
- Understand the player experience we are trying to achieve and how this fits into the wider game.
- Ensure player value is prioritised across all areas of ownership.
- Be able to think strategically, understanding the product strategy and adjusting plans and priorities as appropriate.
- Ensure communication flows smoothly across teams, ensuring everyone is informed, has a voice and is aligned around the upcoming goals.
- Present plans upwards and outwards to ensure everyone understands the strategic thinking behind them, as well as the details of what we plan to do.
- Strike the right balance between team health and delivery, ensuring our team members are always a priority.
- Think inclusively, ensuring everyone on the team has a voice and a chance to offer feedback or ask questions in a way that they feel comfortable with.
- Mentor and manage other members of the Production team, helping them grow and ensuring they are given the opportunity to own and deliver in their own areas.
Qualifications
Required Skills and Experience
- An understanding of Sea of Thieves as a live game.
- Proven ability to understand the game experience, to work closely with Design and deliver against the key game design goals.
- Hands-on experience of managing multiple cross-discipline teams in a game development environment.
- Demonstrable ability to think strategically.
- A calm and measured individual, able to steer the team through challenging waters. How you react during challenging situations, how you lead and how you learn are crucial to this role.
- Proven ability to balance project goals and team health, understanding where the team is at and making decisions appropriately.
- Approachable and willing to listen to questions and feedback from anyone.
- Works well in a team environment, possessing strong communication skills and confidence in dealing with complex situations.
- Experience of working with data to inform decisions and priorities.
- Strong self-motivation and attention to detail.
Desirable Characteristics
- Experience of managing a product as a service in live operation would be beneficial, but not essential.
- Experience of managing co-development relationships across internal and external teams would also be beneficial.
