Description of the responsibilities of the team
DWS Procurement, a function within DWS COO Division, is responsible for end-to-end Procurement processes and provision of Procurement services to all DWS divisions.

Key Responsibilities
- Developing and delivering the category and sourcing vision for Banking Services (outsourced processes supporting delivery of services to DWS clients) category and strategy to meet DWS’ business needs and objectives
- Translating category strategy for implementation to ensure delivery of sustainable reductions in the total cost services procured, with simultaneous improvements in the quality, competitiveness and service levels of the supply base within their portfolio
- Accountable for championing and driving the strategic sourcing process, ensuring adherence to the defined sourcing process(s) and for identifying and mitigating any known risks
- Embedding and improving independent DWS Procurement sourcing processes and governance for the category
- Monitoring category performance against business objectives and regularly meeting with key stakeholders about requirements and to update plans
Skills and Qualifications
- Senior Category Management professional with proven track record of managing complex categories such as Professional Services on a global scale
- Skilled negotiator with history of successful negotiation of large, complex contracts
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Asset Management industry experience
