Adult Social Care Connect is a busy front door team into Adult Services in Southampton City Council.
We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic Senior Practitioner to join our team.
You will be working alongside 3 experienced seniors supporting a team of social workers deal with all initial enquiries into Adult services. This can include care requests, requests for signposting, carer breakdown, crisis management and safeguarding.
The right candidate will need significant experience in a management role, be able to provide excellent supervision and ad-hoc case guidance, work at pace and be confident in all aspects of The Care Act.
In return you will be joining a friendly, supportive team.
The expectation is to cover some essential office cover each week, and to be available ad-hoc for complex joint visits in order to support ASYEs or new staff.
We are looking for someone who has a wealth of experience in adults as we support all client groups including physical disability, older people, mental health and learning disabilities, so lots of opportunities to further develop knowledge and skills.
As with all front door teams, the team is extremely busy so good organisational skills are essential.
