This is a message from Gemma Mason, Lead Senior Physiotherapist, who is the line manager for this role:
‘I started as a rotational physiotherapist at Chesterfield when I qualified, and I worked in the Trust for thirteen years. After a short period of time away, I was then successful in being recruited again. I was so glad I returned as the department is very friendly and colleagues support each other well, and I therefore settled back in to the Team again very quickly. I feel I am supported with my development and always feel my opinions are listened too. I feel appreciated, therefore I continue to be motivated to improve the service and the quality of care patients receive.’
The successful applicant will have post registration experience in the NHS including experience of respiratory care. You will be confident in the assessment and treatment of patients with complex needs and in working as part of the multidisciplinary team to ensure the most appropriate therapies are utilised. You will have experience of supervising staff and will have excellent communication skills. You will be committed to providing excellent patient care, with compassion, dignity and respect; putting patients at the centre of all you do.
We are committed to providing you with on-going training and development to ensure you thrive in your role here at the Trust, which will be individualised and supported by your Line manager
The key to our success is simple: our people. With your experience, energy and commitment, you’ll be able to make a huge difference.
