Are you a forward-thinking and motivated registered pharmacy technician who would like to expand on your leadership and management skills? If so, we have an exciting opportunity within our Pharmacy Stores and Distribution team.
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic individual to lead and develop our Pharmacy Stores and Distribution team, as the Senior Pharmacy Technician, Stores and Distribution. The post is stimulating, exciting and comes with a level of responsibility that will appeal to an individual who wants to develop, work in hospital pharmacy and really make a difference. You will manage and work together with a dynamic team to ensure medicines get to where they need to be, playing a key role in the care of patients.
Your day-to-day role will include: directing the work and training of pharmacy assistants within the stores and distribution department; implementation and management of changes to processes; reconciliation of delivery paperwork and managing delivery problems; liaising with suppliers and customers; dealing with stock shortages; production of usage and expenditure reports; managing MHRA drug recalls; dealing with procurement related problems and enquiries.
You will need excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to organise and prioritise your work. The successful applicant will join a caring pharmacy and trust team, and will be supported to develop professionally.

Participation in the weekend and Bank Holiday Rota is required for this post.
