Your role
Specialty Credit is a global team of enthusiastic professionals operating in the structured credit and political risk insurance market and serving global corporate and bank clients.
You will join the Specialty Credit Operations & Innovation team. You will be based in Allianz Trade Paris Headquarters (Tour First) or Allianz London building (in the City), and you will join a team of 5 and report to the Head of Operations and Innovation for Specialty Credit.
As Senior Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the operational management of insurance policies underwritten by our London team, at all stages from pre-contracting until policy expiry, in close coordination with internal (underwriting and operations teams) and external (brokers and clients) stakeholders.
Under your role, you will have the opportunity to actively contribute to support the growth of the Specialty Credit line of business, as set in Allianz Trade’s strategic plan.
Your main tasks
Your responsibilities will cover the preparation, management, administration and monitoring of the transactions and contracts, including:
- Prepare the necessary documents ahead of binding in relation with underwriters, liaise with appropriate teams to ensure a correct set up in Allianz Trade and Specialty Credit applications.
- Register the signed credit limits in Allianz Trade’s application.
- Perform pre-signing quality checks to ensure data accuracy and compliance with rules.
- Support policy binding and give instructions to the back office teams.
- During the lifetime of the policy, handle policy contractual changes as necessary.
- Manage premium invoicing and perform quality checks.
- Follow-up on aging balance and payment reconciliation, in coordination with external (brokers) and internal (payment allocation team) stakeholders.
The role is an essential part of the service excellence, and the candidate will be in charge of timely and quality delivery.
Typical Functional Skills / Experiences
- Language: Fluent English (oral and written), French is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and efficient work practices, ensuring accuracy and consistency in quality of work
- Focused, reliable and quality oriented, ability to work in autonomy, to multitask and manage priorities
- Team player
- Professional experience in insurance operations, ideally in the Credit and Political Risk Insurance market
- MS Office skills
- Able to handle priorities and workload
- Excited about the role to support an ambitious growth plan
