How to contribute to our vision
- Communicate effectively with Back-office and offshore teams
- Attend daily planning meeting with operations team and weekly site meetings and provide feedback to stores team
- Order, receive, pick, pack, issue and dispatch inventory following the Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy (SGRE) process’ whilst maintaining fully auditable records on both system and paper accurately to meet tight replenishment schedules for both service operation and crew transfer vessels
- Audit transactions of stores team to ensure accuracy and record findings to present to Site Management team on a weekly basis
- Management and control of the European Customs Clearance (ECC) customs process for the far shore sites
- Management and control of calibrated tools, Personal protective equipment (PPE), statutory requirements and secure inventory including safety equipment and standard tooling
- Maintain a safe, clear and clean environment ensuring all procedures are adhered to including equipment maintenance, auditing the stores and reporting findings to management team on a weekly basis
- Expedite effective logistics solutions to the site Operations team to deliver service to our internal and external customers
- Line manage a small team of advanced operations and operations coordinators within the stores team including personal development of staff members
- You will have demonstrable experience in stores or material control ideally within Offshore Wind or similar environment would be preferred
- Excellent organisation skills and be able to adapt quickly to the changing requirements
- Relevant dangerous goods certification, Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) and a Level 2 certificate in management would be preferred
- Should have experience in MS Office Applications and SAP or another inventory management system
- Should have good communication skills to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels
- Previous supervisor and/or line management experience and counterbalance/reach Forklift Truck (FLT) licences would be advantageous
