Job Description
- To grow and develop Cash & Carry and Convenience Channel business achieving Sales & Margin Targets
Co-op, Booker/BRP, Bestway, SPAR/RDC, Parfetts, Dhamecha, Hyperama
- Full P & L responsibility including trade spend management
- Budget compilation & control
- Developing and implementing customer Joint Business Plans
- Forecast management
- Key contact for all touch points in Customers
- Commercial proposal evaluation
- Develop & manage NPD / branded activity (Internal project process and Promotional approval process)
- Cross functional communication
The Successful Applicant
- Minimum 5 years Cash & Carry experience. Demonstrable operational knowledge of channel and customers.
- Booker, Spar and Convenience Channel account management experience essential.
- Strong skills in Microsoft: Excel & Powerpoint
- Numerate with strong financial skills
- Proven track record of successful negotiation with customers/terms agreements
- Strong Presentation & analytical skills
- Potential to be developed further within the company
- Food FMCG background (ideally bakery, but not essential)
- Brand and Own label experience a benefit
- Track record in developing new and existing business
