Will need to be able to travel to Tamworth as appropriate.

Purpose of the role:

This is a senior role within the business with the successful individual interacting with multi-national customers at a very senior level.

Key deliverables will be preparing and executing strategic account plans, creating pipeline opportunities and delivering revenue and margin targets whilst forging customer relationships to ensure Crown’s alignment with their objectives.

These are exciting times for Crown and its employees with a clear strategic roadmap to develop the business over the next three years and this role will be critical in the ultimate success of their objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Account management of key accounts within the company’s existing portfolio

· Build senior level relationships and become a credible point of contact for the customer

· Identify and deliver new opportunities within account base to maximise potential growth

· Developing a Strategic Account Management approach and customer facing plan to ensure senior relationships which would include

o Building a credible pipeline in line with corporate objectives

o Building a detailed understanding of customers, markets and competitors

o Comprehensive understanding of the customers challenges

· Effective negotiation of supply rates and contract terms balancing customer service requirements with maximising corporate profitability objectives

· Daily update of CRM customer records, opportunities and cases and effective communication of new developments with colleagues

· Effective liaison and communication with all departments to align account objectives and success criteria

· Think strategically - seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives in order to develop and improve the business

  • Work strategically - carrying out necessary planning in order to implement operational changes

Applicant Criteria:

· Minimum five years Account Management experience

· Courier/ Logistics experience desirable

· Proven track record of developing growth opportunities with customers at a senior level

· Strong commercial acumen with experience of forecasting and budgeting processes

· Excellent presentation and general communication skills at board level

· Highly organised and able to work well under pressure

· Comprehensive practical understanding of Excel, PowerPoint and Word

· Generates enthusiasm and has a positive attitude to change

· Able to work on your own initiative and prioritise workloads

· Must have flexibility in regards working hours.

· Driving licence essential

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £45,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
