Job Title: Senior National Account Manager
Location: London, NW7
Job Description:
As the Senior National Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our company by overseeing the management and growth of the Account Management Team while also contributing to new business development opportunities. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will lead a team and collaborate across departments to ensure the seamless execution of our sales strategies and retailers/buyer relationships. Your expertise in the beauty industry, coupled with your exceptional communication and leadership skills, will be key to achieving and exceeding our sales goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Management and Development:
- Lead a team to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team culture, promoting continuous learning and development.
- Provide guidance, support, and resources to enable team members to excel in their roles.
Retail Account Management:
- Utilise your industry knowledge and experience to build and nurture relationships with retailers and buyers.
- Ensure the satisfaction and growth of retail accounts by delivering exceptional service and tailored solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address retailer needs, resolve challenges, and enhance account performance.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Communicate effectively with senior leadership and various internal departments to align strategies and goals.
- Work collaboratively with Marketing, NPD, Design and Supply Chain to ensure seamless coordination and execution.
Performance Analysis and Improvement:
- Analyse sales performance and trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Challenge and guide direct reports in analysing their performance, setting targets, and implementing strategies for enhanced sales outcomes.
- Proactively suggest and implement innovative approaches to drive sales and exceed targets.
Strategic Account Support:
- Take a proactive approach in supporting key accounts and high-potential markets, ensuring sales strategies are aligned with market trends.
- Take a more hands on approach to specific key areas of business, as well as having an overview of product merchandising and range updates.
- Oversee significant retail projects, including stand design and updates, to enhance product visibility and consumer engagement.
Relationship Management:
- Manage and maintain relationships with POS design agencies to ensure effective presentation of products in retail environments.
- Coordinate with external partners and vendors to optimise product displays and visual merchandising.

Qualifications and Requirements:
- Seeking a candidate with good experience, ideal personality traits, and strong cultural alignment.
· Proven experience and track record within the Beauty industry or related field with a strong understanding of retail sales and customer dynamics.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills to effectively interact with internal teams and external partners.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data, identify trends, and recommend actionable strategies.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing market conditions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with retailers for meetings.
