We are offering a great opportunity to join a new and developing service where you will be able to make a valuable contribution to the lives of children and young people aged 5-12.
The salary band for this role is £26,516 - £31,196 per annum - actual salary based on experience and qualifications.
This is a full-time permanent position (35 hours per week).
YOUnited is an innovative partnership involving Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust, Cambridgeshire Community Services NHS Trust, Centre 33, and Ormiston Families. The partnership offers emotional wellbeing and mental health support to children and young people in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough, with Ormiston Families leading on interventions for children and young people aged 5-12 with mild to moderate mental health difficulties.
We are seeking candidates who are dedicated to improving services and want to make a positive difference for children and young people. You will provide leadership and guidance to our child wellbeing and the emotional wellbeing practitioners who deliver brief guided self-help interventions for children and their Carers, with mild to moderate mental health difficulties. You will also carry a small caseload.
You will join a supportive team and will work alongside our team of counsellors; and emotional wellbeing practitioners who are currently developing ‘Video Interactive Guidance’ and ‘Parent and Child Attachment Play’ interventions. We are also a team committed to offering trainee CWP placements.
Successful candidates will be required to be a qualified and experienced CWP, EMHP or PWP with experience of providing supervision in this area. You will also have a good understanding of the mental health presentations in children and young people; have sound knowledge of guided self-help interventions; and an ability to provide leadership and guidance.
The main office is in March, Cambridgeshire but successful candidates will work from home. Travel across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough will be required, so you will need access to a car.
