As part of an innovative and fully integrated Sales & Marketing function, the Brand Marketing team works with colleagues to create an engaging brand story and to protect and enhance the Center Parcs brand across all channels. With a focus on generating insights and creating engaging and effective marketing plans to support revenue growth across the business, the Brand Marketing team is a passionate team of storytellers, creatives and planners. Acting as brand guardians, we support colleagues to achieve commercial targets by delivering campaigns that we know will engage and motivate guests and future guests.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Senior Marketing Manager, Brand Content and Creative – Head Office based with hybrid working + travel
Circa £55,000 per annum plus 18% bonus scheme
This is an exciting opportunity to join our Head Office Sales & Marketing team as Senior Marketing Manager, Brand Content and Creative.
Reporting directly to the Director of Brand and Marketing Strategy, you will have overall responsibility for all things brand, content and creative in the Sales and Marketing team, covering the UK and Ireland.
You will be responsible for managing a team of four direct reports, so strong people management skills will be required. Managing the yearly creative cycle and overseeing the budget and production of assets, you will ensure that the Center Parcs brand has quality creative materials to market the business externally throughout the year. This includes seasonal sales requirements and the yearly peak advertising campaign.
Other responsibilities will include overseeing the film and photography production process, to ensure that our Digital Asset Management System (DAM) has the range of diverse quality film and photo files, ensuring other teams such as CRM, web and creative services have the assets they need.
You will also have brand ownership of the Center Parcs brand, ensuring that all marketing materials reflect the brand and are consistent wherever they are used. You will also own the development of the brand, ensuring that the look and feel of our marketing messages always reflect family life in the outside world around us.
The successful candidate will manage the organic social media function of the brand, developing the strategy and overseeing all content that is produced, posted and reported on Center Parcs channels; including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube. You will also be responsible for all paid social assets that are produced as part of the campaign cycle.
This is a hybrid role, with the successful candidate being required to work from Head Office for 2 days per week plus homeworking and village visits. Occasional overnight stays will also be required.
HOURS OF WORK
You will be contracted to work 150 hours per 4-week period (37.5 hours per week). Normal working hours are 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, however dynamic working is available whereby the earliest start time is 7am and the latest end time is 7pm.
Please note, this is a hybrid role, with the successful candidate being required to work from Head Office for 2 days per week plus homeworking and village visits. Occasional overnight stays will also be required.
ABOUT YOU
Essential requirements:
- Substantial experience in a client-side multi-channel marketing department, preferably in a brand and communications environment
- Brand Management/Content Management experience on a nationally respected brand
- Excellent communications, negotiation and numeracy skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages; Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Project Management experience
- Budget management experience
- Good understanding of integrated content and channel marketing and evaluation techniques
- Strong people management and stakeholder management skills
Desirable requirements:
- Degree level qualification - but on the job, experience is more valuable
- Experience briefing out marketing requirements and creative design briefs
- Experience of managing agencies
