An opportunity has arisen to join us in our People & Places team, as a Senior Manager, Global Mobility and International Working. You’ll provide subject matter expertise across our international working arrangements including business travel, remote working and longer-term assignments. You’ll work in collaboration with our global mobility supplier and a number of teams across LBG to enhance our international colleague journeys and ensure the organisation can navigate the complex landscape associated with cross border business and travel.

What you'll be doing
You’ll be the lead on all LBG international working arrangements; through your specialist knowledge in global mobility, you’ll support policy development and decision making to ensure our approaches to international working support our business strategy. You’ll help support our colleagues to be their best whilst working internationally and apply a sense of pragmatism to compliance whilst aligning to LBG’s risk appetite and values. You’ll be supported by a team reporting directly to you or through matrix management with a wider network of colleagues across supplier, tax, pensions and technology teams.
Accountabilities will include;
  • Leading the relationship with our global mobility (GM) supplier, working in collaboration to ensure the best solutions and processes for LBG and our colleagues
  • Continually enhance our international working processes to ensure they align to our values, keep pace with external market developments whilst recognising compliance requirements
  • Leverage your SME knowledge to coordinate across a broad range of stakeholders to make informed decisions in what are often complex scenarios
  • Act as risk owner for risks associated with our international working arrangements ensuring effective controls are in place and well managed by LBG and our GM supplier to mitigate impacts
  • Leading on issue management and resolution in relation to international working arrangements, coordinating rectification activity where required
  • Lead, coordinate or provide SME support to people project teams ensuring international requirements are well understood and acted on
  • Act as LBG application owner for Global Mobility system, working with our People Platform to ensure the system delivers against requirements and enhancements are made as requirements develop or change
  • Manage budgets associated with international working arrangements, including supplier costs to ensure these align to contract and offer continued value to LBG
About You
  • You’ll have experience working in global mobility, understating relevant polices, processes and the complex landscape of cross border working arrangements
  • You have a proven ability to work in a complex and diverse stakeholder environment, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders, balance competing stakeholder requirements and influence behaviours to support key business decisions
  • You're good at managing your time and working within a team to make sure you can work under pressure to deliver to tight deadlines
  • Bring a problem-solving approach with the ability to challenge and constructively debate key issues
  • Works collaboratively with a diverse group of stakeholders, utilising well-developed relationship skills
  • You have an ability to assess the impact of change on products, systems, processes and people
  • You are able to use both data and words to tell a story that will inform desicsions and strategy development
