Why this job matters
The Senior Manager, Field Marketing will be responsible for marketing into the sales channels in the CPS and global teams structure, and where relevant, mid market/LBs (in alignment with channel marketing as appropriate) and be responsible for bottom of the funnel marketing to drive velocity of conversion, the segment marketing plans and responsible for all go to market executions into the sales teams including ABM, events and hospitality (including GAB), major campaign activations, case studies, customer demand marketing, lifecycle comms, sales hubs to drive conversion and loyalty into our global and CPS segments.

The Senior Manager, Field Marketing will understand the outcomes our CPS and Global sales teams need from marketing and be responsible for ensuring we support MTP delivery and representing the marketing team as figurehead into the channels.
What you’ll be doing
  • Key interface into the CPS and Global segments accountable for collating the holistic channel marketing plan which articulates al marketing activity relevant to the segments, and activation of the plan to ensure the plan is joined up e2e across all customer touchpoints. This includes:
  • Activation and enablement of major campaigns effectively into channels and report KPI and metrics into the segment
  • Bottom of funnel engagement and optimisation relevant to the field team and customers
  • Specific customer demand marketing campaigns (including AMB), with ownership of the creative brief for digital teams / studio / agencies to create against
  • Events, hospitality, GAB
  • CEC
  • Vertical and thought leadership positioning relevant to large corporates, in alignment with the marketing strategy
  • Lifecycle comms, with ownership of the creative brief for digital teams / studio / agencies to create against
  • Segment specific quarterly and annual marketing investment, as aligned with strategy lead. Tracking and monitoring ROI of marketing spend, setting KPI’s for all activity
  • Oversee and coordinate holistic review of all segment impacting marketing performance tracking and reporting and communicating these to stakeholders
  • People engagement
  • Management of all channel senior stakeholder material (BURs, MTP, Performance etc)
  • Major bid support
  • Adapting marketing support and activity to be relevant to the varying needs of the field teams and setting high quality standards
  • Identifying field specific opportunities / focus areas for product and partnership team
  • Activating marketing strategy with relevant content, sales briefings, presenters, customer content etc
  • Lead, develop and motivate a high performing team within marketing
  • Significant contributing personality on the Marketing Senior Management Team representing your team and the wider Marketing teams in general.

  • Market Understanding and Competitor Analysis: Broad understanding of the telecommunications market, adjacent markets, and competitors. Includes knowledge of global MNCs, corporate, and public sector organisations, while prioritising diversity and inclusion.
