The Journalism Department at Liverpool John Moores University is seeking a talented lecturer to join our team.
Based in the heart of a city full of news, sport and culture to report upon, we deliver NCTJ-accredited courses in journalism and sports journalism at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Our BA Journalism is also BTJC accredited, and we pride ourselves in developing multimedia journalists who are ready for success in all forms of journalism.
We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our team as Senior Lecturer on a 0.8 basis.
The successful candidate will have a detailed understanding of the contemporary UK journalism industry. They will have a PhD or postgraduate qualification in a relevant area and/or equivalent professional experience. Knowledge of UK accrediting body requirements will be an advantage.
