THE POST – Senior Lecturer in Business and Management
The School of Business and Creative Industries is seeking applications from individuals to join the School’s Division of Management, Operations and People as a Senior Lecturer in Business and Management.
These specific Senior Lecturer posts are to provide leadership support for our MBA in London. We have successfully and significantly grown our MBA cohorts at the London campus. We offer MBA pathways in Leadership, Digital Marketing, Logistics and Supply Chain, Luxury Branding and Banking and Finance.
As a result of this, we are continuing to make a significant investment in academic posts to support both our students and our strategic development, helping to further position the School as a key player locally, nationally and internationally.
You will have opportunities to help build the reputation and profile of our School as a leading contributor to the economic and social development of the communities in which we work as well as engage in exciting international opportunities.
The successful candidate should have the following:
- Experience of teaching and supervising MBA students
- Degree and relevant PhD qualification or equivalent qualification
- Experience of learning, teaching and assessment within Higher Education
- Practical experienced gained within industry and be able to develop and lead projects in partnership with external stakeholders
- Have experience of delivering and developing modules within the areas of Business and Management (at undergraduate and post-graduate levels); and experience of hybrid delivery of learning and teaching and of use of authentic/real-world assessment approaches
- Commitment to delivering high quality teaching and supporting an outstanding student experience.
- Evidence of effective team membership and leadership
