Senior IT Technician
On behalf of our client we are seeking to recruit a full time IT Implementation Specialist to join their growing Business Systems team.
Working from their Leicester office you will work with alongside the business systems team. You will quickly acquire a detailed understanding and knowledge of our in-house ERP software and our business and interact with a varied group of people around the business including our IT/Systems, Sales & Marketing, Finance, Warehouse and Depots around the country.

About the Role:
Provide 2nd level support to the business on our existing solutions.
Tracking and resolving user queries
Log, track and test cases directly with the software vendors
Assist in prioritising and allocating tasks in the business systems team.
Carry out hands-on support for Head Office based users
Provide remote support on our ERP systems and other central back-end systems across the company
Working closely with the Business Process Manager and stake holders in the business identify develop and deploy solutions to improve the proficiencies of the business.
Use the development tools provided within our ERP to build and configure solutions for the business
Work alongside 3rd party developers to design, spec and deliver bespoke solutions to the business.
Manage new projects, Upgrades, new system testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Implementations.
Create training media for the project as well as document current processes.
Compile reports using our internal report writing tools, Microsoft Power BI and SQL scripting.
Create and maintain SQL stored procedures and views.
You will report to the Business Systems Manager and work alongside a knowledgeable and well-established team to ensure you gain the required knowledge about our business and systems.
As part of the Business System team, we are required to ensure the some running of the system, there may be times when you are you required to perform duties not normally in your daily tasks to ensure the smooth running of the department.
Occasional travel and stay will be required from time to time when working on new projects.
About you:
5+ years’ experience in similar role
Strong analyst skills within SQL, Excel and other Business Intelligence tools.
Previous experience writing reports on other BI tools like Power BI, ClickView, Crystal Reports etc.
Strong systems experience, specifically in ERP, Sales Order Processing environment
Previous experience on other ERP system Sage, Intact IQ, SAP, Epicor, NetSuite
Knowledge of any development languages will be an advantage, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP
Results driven person who can successfully see a project through to completion
A great communicator with attention to detail and someone who enjoys working as part of a team and on their own.

Salary: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
