The Senior Inventory Manager is responsible for managing an end to end Supply Chain, from supplier to store, smoothly, efficiently, and effectively, enabling us to deliver the best possible availability for our customers. The Senior Inventory Manager works collaboratively alongside suppliers, commercial and retail teams, taking direct responsibility for warehouse and store availability, stock health management and stock budget management. This role reports to the Supply Chain Manager.
A typical day in this role includes:
- Interacting with a variety of stakeholders: Suppliers, Commercial, Distribution, Savers Supply Chain, Retail Operations
- Direct ownership of an end to end supply chain: delivering availability and stock budget KPIs, building cross functional relationships
- Ensuring Superdrug’s inventory is in the right place at the right time
- Identifying opportunities for business improvements and efficiencies for flow of stock, reducing central cost across all channels, both in store and online
- Help deliver the overall Supply Chain strategy, that focuses on customer availability, commercial investment, and budget
- Be inquisitive in analysing data to identify areas of opportunity
- Placing stock orders to deliver superb availability within stock budget targets
- Provide insightful stock and availability updates to leadership teams
- Leading, coaching, and developing more junior member of the team

What you’ll need:
- You need to have an in depth understanding of end to end supply chain management and the associated complexities
- You need to understand the core principles of a distribution operation and inventory management
- You need to have a working knowledge of general retail commercial processes

Hours : 37.5 | 9.00am - 5.30pm - Hybrid working available depending on role responsibilities with 2 days working from home and 3 days in our stylish, modern and collaborative office close to East Croydon Station.
