The International Business is one of lululemon’s declared imperatives for long term growth of the company. The Operations arm of the International business team is strategically placed to support the growth in the following 3 regions: Mainland China, Asia Pacific and EMEA. The mandate is to facilitate and support the growth plan for International holistically and drive where needed.
a day in the life: what you’ll do
- The Senior Manager, International Operations will provide overall support and act as a strategic thinking partner for the VP, International Operations. The International Operations scope varies from Risk and Resiliency, Franchise Partners Operating, New Market Entry Framework and execution of various projects across China Mainland, Asia Pacific and EMEA.
- Enhancing and implementing the framework supporting New Market Entry connecting with all functions across the enterprise creating accountability to support this important strategy.
- Create systems to support the cross functional nature of entering new markets working with all levels in all functions and allowing for seamless execution in region.
- Partner with leads in all global functions, gathering risk and issues, removing roadblocks for our New Market Entry program.
- Support budgeting and budget management for multi year project plans related to New Market Entry
- Support In Region Project Managers, create and guide in the use of global frameworks and making connections where needed.
- Create a central repository for future planning, allowing for learnings to be used in perpetuity.
- Act as a strategic partner in the initial refinement of a framework and governance for our Licensed Markets and create long term partnership with in-region teams in APAC and EMEA to support for this new business unit.
- Partner in the creation of our international operating model. With our internal Transformation team, responsible for ongoing creation and for long term maintenance upholding the integrity of the work after implementation.
- Assist ongoing refinement of Risk Management and Mitigation program. Partner with Asset protection team and drive inputs for multiple workstreams across China Mainland, APAC and EMEA.
- Collaborate with other teams involved in cross functional programs- including change management, communications, learning/training, org design when required.
- Support scheduling of working sessions with business partners and the work-back activities and reviews required to prepare for working sessions.
- 5- 8 years of experience in consultancy, program management or other required
- Bachelors degree; PMO training or consultant background would be an asset
- Self-motivated, passionate, detail-oriented, multi-tasker extraordinaire who thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and root cause identification skills
- Excellent communication skills - interpersonal, written, and verbal

Your role is classified as Hybrid under our global SSC Hybrid Workplace Policy. In-person collaboration is important, and much of the role can be performed remotely. Work is performed at both the SSC office (at least 3 days per week) and home office every week.
