Saint Mary's Hospital (part of MFT) is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to analyse data to drive improvements for patients. To be successful in this role you will need to be highly organised, pay attention to detail and be able to manage competing priorities, using your own initiative to solve problems. You will need excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships across staff groups, always conducting yourself in a professional manner.
To achieve in this exciting role, you will need; a real eye for detail, an analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, a willingness and ability to liaise with our stakeholders to interpret requirements and transform them into technical specifications along with an enthusiasm to get the job done to the highest standards. You will have advanced technical knowledge in a range of areas of IM&T, and evidence of using various information analysis techniques such as SQL, Access, Pivot Tables, Forecasting and any associated tools.
Experience of working with NHS data is desirable but exceptional candidates without previous NHS experience will be considered. The post-holder will be expected to contribute to the development of a performance-focused culture where safety, effectiveness and patient experience are consistently promoted through the provision of high-quality information, analytical interpretation, benchmarking and intelligent modelling.
This post will be set within the Business Intelligence Development Team working collaboratively with other colleagues to integrate the key performance data items into our performance dashboards and other reports. This will require the post-holder to lead on the development of the central data repository within the Data Warehouse.
The post-holder will be expected to contribute to the development of a performance-focused culture where safety, effectiveness and patient experience are consistently delivered through the provision of high-quality performance information, analytical interpretation, benchmarking, forecasting and intelligent modelling.
The post-holders will play a critical role in the future development of the Trust’s data warehouse, associated reports and ‘dashboards’ in partnership with the Performance and Information Managers.
The above indicates the main duties of the post which may be reviewed in the light of experience and developments within the service. Any review will be undertaken in conjunction with the post-holder.
To undertake any other duties which is deemed appropriate to the band when requested by Senior Staff.
