Job description
The Senior Human Resources Manager will be responsible for providing HR advice, guidance and coaching to all employees in addition to partnering with senior management on all people related matters. You will lead the HR function and build the people strategy for a growing business. You will have the opportunity partner with the business on all aspects of the employment Lifecyle for our permanent and freelance employees across all areas of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and deliver the people strategy for Wonderhood Studios in partnership with the senior management team ensuring that HR best practice is operating across the business.
- Provide HR leadership support to all managers including employee relations, compensation, talent management, recruitment, performance management, reporting and compliance with HR policies and practices.
- Lead all key HR projects and initiatives.
- Provide day-to-day performance management guidance including coaching, performance improvement, career development, disciplinary actions).
- Partner with Head of Talent and hiring managers on all aspects of the television production recruitment process.
- Deliver essential HR Training.
- Champion Diversity Equity Inclusion Initiatives in partnership with the company ERG.
- Provide expert advice on, workforce planning, restructures, and succession planning.
- Manage the HR system People HR.
- Partner with the finance/payroll team on all people related finance matters including KPI’s, benefits, rewards.
What you’ll have:
- Experience of operating at a strategic level where HR has been an effective business partner.
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills with the ability to present a clear and strategic point-of-view to senior management.
- Extensive knowledge of HR ideally within creative and/or entertainment industry.
- Strong understanding of different employment types and IR35.
