Are you an experienced, influential Health and Safety professional with strong leadership skills?
We are looking for a Senior H&S Manager to lead the delivery of the Wolseley group H&S strategy & programme for our group businesses within the island of Ireland (Northern Ireland & Republic of Ireland). The aim is to drive sector leading safety performance and a positive safety culture.
As a Senior H&S Manager, you will work closely with business unit Directors, Regional Directors and Regional Management teams to continually improve the safety of the workplace. You will report into the H&S Director but will have a dotted line reporting into the Group Managing Director of Wolseley Ireland and be an active member of the Wolseley Ireland management team.
This is a field based position with national travel, we are looking for someone to be based in Northern Ireland preferably.

Up for the challenge? Here’s what we’d like you to have:
- NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent level 6 qualification (e.g. Level 6
- Strong leadership experience with the ability to change and improve safety culture within a business
- Experience of working in a multi-site, fast moving environment, preferably within retail or trade sector in a mid-large organisation
- Comfortable and confident to create and execute a strategy, proven experience of this
- Passion, enthusiasm & tenacity
