Job Title: Senior Healthcare Assistant
Duties:
- Assist with administrations and dispensing of medication in accordance with medication procedures
- Assisting healthcare professionals in providing patient care and support
- Monitoring and recording vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
- Assisting with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Administering medications under the supervision of a nurse or physician
- Assisting with mobility and transferring patients
- Keeping patient rooms clean and organized
- Assisting with meal preparation and feeding patients as needed
- Providing emotional support and companionship to patients
- Documenting patient information and maintaining accurate records
Experience:
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred but not required
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team
- Compassionate and caring attitude towards patients
- Ability to handle stressful situations with calmness and professionalism
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
