UG EMEA team focuses on maximising DNU & DAU growth in the EMEA region (mainly in UK,DE,FR,IT,ES as well as EG,PK,NG,ZA,KE) via following a data-driven, user-centric glocal approach and leveraging growth levers including but not limited to Product localisation, Paid Ads, Pre-loads, Organic (ASO), Referall & rewards and Partnerships.
Role Overview:
As a Senior Growth Strategist and Data Analyst for the User Growth Team in London, you will play a pivotal role in driving the performance marketing strategies and execution for our key markets. You will work closely with a talented team of growth marketing managers, creative talents, product managers, data scientists, and strategists to unlock further growth for TikTok. Your responsibilities will encompass data reporting, strategic analysis and data-driven insights, as well as strong stakeholder management to implement and upgrade growth initiatives. We are looking for a self-starter, someone who is keen to explore and investigate proactively new ways of achieving our ambitious goals.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth analyses of European markets, understand key segments, trends, and competitive landscape and identify opportunities to optimize funnels, increase campaign effectiveness, and drive incremental growth. Generate valuable insights, strategic improvements, and prioritize tests and trials.
- Propose methods to improve paid ads and organic growth effectiveness, understand campaign behaviors and long-term trends on mainstream channels (e.g., Google Ads, Google UAC, Facebook Ads, Apple Search Ads) and identify new levers to drive key user growth metrics.
- Collaborate with data scientists, creative teams, product managers, and cross-functional teams to implement growth initiatives and improve campaign performance.
- Build and analyze dashboards and reports, establish and refine key data sets to empower operational and exploratory analysis, and evaluate and define metrics.
- Forecast and set team quarterly goals, design and evaluate A/B tests, monitor key metrics, and investigate the root causes of changes in performance metrics. Support quarterly business reviews and annual planning processes with analysis of business performance
- Partner and present performance KPIs to various stakeholders across the organization to ensure alignment, effective communication, and successful implementation of growth strategies.
- Bachelor's degree or above in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Engineering, Finance, or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience within an analytical role in a fast moving environment (Scale-ups, Start-ups, Consulting, Marketing Agencies).
- Growth Marketing Expert: In-depth understanding of advertising systems, including algorithms on various ad products, campaign management best practices, and ad system hacks. Knowledge of organic growth optimization tools (SEO, ASO, CRM) is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills: advanced in SQL and Excel and experienced with data visualization tools and marketing analytics platforms (e.g. Tableau, Appsflyer, Google Analytics) to build dashboards. Capability to synthesize and communicate complex concepts and analyses in an easily understandable manner. You can interpret requirements and present data in a clear and compelling way, using graphical representations and data visualisations. Good grasp of common statistical methods and applications, such as A/B testing, probability, and regression.
- Structured problem solver: ability to bring clarity to ambiguity by structuring problems to isolate essential components and identify signal from noise
- Stakeholder management: Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in cross-cultural and cross-functional environments including strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage and influence various teams and individuals to achieve common goals. Also, you understand how to share insights with a variety of stakeholders.
- Industry Insights: Familiarity with European markets and up-to-date industry standards in growth strategy.
