Role: Senior Growth Manager (Retention)
Location: London, we offer a mixture of hybrid and office based working.
Employment Type: Full Time, Permanent
Here at Gousto we have an incredibly exciting opportunity, in the form of a Senior Growth Manager (Retention). Reporting into the Head of Growth (Retention) you will be responsible for growing revenue & orders from our existing customer base.
The Growth team at Gousto is responsible for driving the order frequency of our customers (help them make their Gousto box a weekly habit!), preventing customers from leaving us, and leading our winback campaigns (help customers rediscover Gousto), and growing our Refer-A-Friend marketing channel forms a key part of the role.
To do this you'll work cross-functionally with teams in digital product, creative and finance to deliver initiatives across the digital product experience and improve engagement through a range of communication channels. This is a high visibility commercial role, with a huge potential for impact in driving business performance!

- Fully personalising our onboarding journey
- Owning and planning promotions for all customers
- Scaling our biggest channel, Refer-a-friend
Core Responsibilities:
- CRM. Own our customer comms strategy for a few key areas of the customer journey - across creative, channel optimisation and engagement. Build exciting and compelling communication tests for our various channels to drive engagement and orders across the entire lifecycle
- Campaign Management. Lead on creation and optimisation of seasonal campaigns to drive orders and referrals, collaborating with Brand, Creative, Legal, and Tech teams.
- Customer value management. Identify and action areas to improve the profitability of our existing customer base; through incentivisation, digital & physical customer experience and communications.
- Digital Product. As part of the Activate Tribe (a wider cross-functional team that include DP, Tech, UX/UI, DS, Analytics, Finance, Insights, Marketing) - work with Product Managers to define & execute against the most impactful opportunities to drive order frequency and prevent customer churn
- Reporting. Analyse tests and campaign performance, recommending improvements to optimise journeys from results
Who you are:
- Strong experience relevant fields including: Retention, CRM, Digital Product Development, Growth Marketing, Product Marketing, Analytics.
- Proficiency in various ESPs with extensive experience in building campaigns, managing data, segmentation and email automation.
- Proven experience in launching commercially successful, customer insight-led campaigns.
- Highly analytical, with strong numerical skills
- Experience with best practice A/B testing. Running multiple experiments with excellent pre-test analysis, execution, and results.
- Experience leading cross-functional projects where you drove change across the business.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. You love making things happen at pace
- Experience working with a technology to deliver meaningful improvements to product metrics.
- Line management experience would be highly desirable although not essential
