Jollyes is a business that is expanding massively! We love pets, and we love our people. We’re hunting a talented and creative Senior Graphic Designer to drive our brand and create outstanding work. We are a brand which is in transition, we like new ideas and we want someone who has fire in the belly to make a difference. The role is suited to someone who wants to stamp their paw print on our brand. The team is small, and we have a lot but were also autonomous and have permission to get stuff done- quickly. This crucial role within the team will really help to steer our brand creative direction to support our massive expansion.
Role
The Senior Graphic Designer will be responsible for leading the creative development and brand tone for Jollyes. Working with the Marketing, Ecommerce, and wider team to create and execute compelling and commercially driven communications across all touch points and drive a consistent brand image for our customers.
Responsibilities:
· Lead a small team creative studio, ensuring that workload is prioritised and delegated to ensure that all deadlines are hit and activity delivered on time
· Creation of large campaign and brand assets to bring to life the master Jollyes brand.
· Create all promotional and non-promotional In Store POS assets to support cyclical promotional campaigns.
· Create and develop assets and toolkits for new store and other external communications to support the delivery of our new store programme
· Create and execute concepts and assets to support campaigns throughout the year, working closely with Digital Designer to create consistency across all channels
· Work with external strategic creative agency on development of longer term strategic creative concepts
· Deliver end to end processes for the development of brand packaging, from concept to final artwork working closely with the trading team to ensure that activity lands on time
· Develop and maintain company brand books for all key projects and brands across the Jollyes business
· Support the wider business with necessary creative support e.g. conference slides etc
· Liaise with external partners such as printers and 3rd party suppliers
· Be a strong source of creativity within the wider marketing team –introduce new concepts and ideas that will engage customers and drive sale
· Set up a central portal for assets and be the main point of contact for internal and external stakeholders when assets are required
Key Skills
· Detailed knowledge and understanding of Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
· An excellent line manager, can work to get the best out of other people and influence them to deliver great work
· Planning and prioritisation- we spin a lot of plates, but we need to keep our eye on the ball
· Able to take a project from conception to implementation, managing multiple projects at one time.
· A team player, willing to roll up their sleeves and get stuck in with a true can do attitude.
· Energetic, creative, and inspirational personality. You will always be looking for opportunities to improve and be more effective
· Excellent relationship skills, both internally and externally which allow you to develop strong relationships.
· Resilient and tenacious, we move quickly and want to deliver the best work as quickly as we can.
· Highly literate, and highly articulate in written and verbal communications and be prepared to express opinions and ask insightful questions.
Qualifications & Experience
Over 5 years of experience, ideally within a retail/faced paced FMCG working environment.
Reporting to: Head of Marketing
Salary
Up to £55,000 pro rata
Hours
Typical Working Hours: 9:00am - 5:30pm
Remote working with occasional need to be in the office or other locations
